Perun moto BMW F900GS Mini Top Rack with Mosko Reckless 40

In one of our previous ARTICLES, we dove deep into the details of fitment of Mosko moto Reckless 40 (v4) on a BMW F900GS equipped with our Top luggage rack. Top rack offers different mounting options for many rack-less luggage systems, top cases, plus plenty of room for additional bags. For riders who mount their Mosko moto Reckless bags exclusively with the Gnoblin, we came up with a dedicated solution that makes no compromises. Our Mini Top Rack.

Mini rack offers four positions for installation of the Gnoblin. For the Reckless 40, the rear most hole works the best. It's advisable to add spacers between the Gnoblin and our rack as this makes it easier to put the bags on the bike. This video shows the entire installation procedure and gives an overview of fit and features.

Reckless 40 harness has three positions for the Gnoblin hardware. We prefer using the rear one on the F900GS.

Once the Gnoblin locks into place and the lower straps are secured to our Tie-down brackets, Reckless 40 does not move around.

Underside of the Reckless 40 harness barely brushes the most forward part of Mini rack side brackets. There are no hot spots developing over time which is great for longevity of the bags.

With the low-slung exhaust of the F900GS, the heat should never be an issue. There is plenty of space between bags and the silencer.

This setup leaves enough room even for taller riders. Side bags will not interfere while moving around the bike. When shifting body weight all the way back, while riding steep downhills, you will hit the tail bag (if one is mounted beneath the beavertail). This holds true for all rack-less luggage setups we have tried.

The entire setup is narrower than the handlebars. This is great news for riding narrow or overgrown trails.

Overall, Reckless 40 works really well for weekend rides. Thanks to Perun moto Mini Top Rack and Tie-down brackets, installation is fuss-free and bags stay exactly where they should be.
