We've used last days of decent late autumn weather to test out the Enduristan Blizzard XL bags mounted to our Top luggage rack for the CF-Moto 450MT / Ibex 450. Please note we're showing an older generation of the Blizzards, but everything should be relevant for the current one as well.
This is the setup I use occasionally, and each time I'm surprised at how roomy the bags are. They will comfortably fit everything needed for a weekend camping trip.

For the ease of installation, I prefer using strap with metal hooks to attach upper part of the bags to the rack. This is a lot quicker mounting option than threading the "standard" strap trough the slots on the rack. Granted, metal hooks will eventually wear the powder coating of the rack but that's small price to pay for the convenience.



Lower straps are secured to the front part of the passenger foot rest brackets. Excess strap length can be trimmed off, or wrapped around the bracket as shown.


450MT has a slim rear end and lower part of the bags is largely unsupported. Keeping the lower straps as short as possible - to the point where buckles almost touch the footrest bracket - reduces the bouncing of the bags to a minimum. This will prevent the bag from interfering with the chain, swingarm or rear wheel.


This dictates the overall position of the bags. They sit far enough to the back and don't interfere with the rider, even when moving around the bike.
There is limited clearance between stock silencer and the RHS bag. I have run this setup without a heat shield. However, adding one is probably a good idea, especially for riding off-road. I haven't tested the fit with the optional bottle holster as it would rest on the exhaust.

One of the neat features of the Blizzard bags is their shape. Once the bags are closed, the top part will be parallel with the seat, and only slightly above it.

The entire setup is narrower than the handlebars. In fact, the bags will mostly be tucked behind rider's legs. This comes in handy when riding tight or overgrown trails.

A simple, proven setup that keeps the Blizzard XL stable and perfectly suited for adventure riding on the 450MT.
