Our Top luggage rack for the BMW F900GS has proven to be a popular product. It covers a wide range of use situations, from securing rack-less luggage systems to mounting duffle tail bags or top cases. However, there is no such thing as a perfect product.

After testing new Mosko moto Reckless 10 v2.0, it became obvious that standard rack is not an optimal solution for it. New Reckless 10 has a stiff CURV harness, just as the rest of the Reckless lineup. The harness is not wide enough to fit properly over the standard rack, and it can't be moved forward to sit entirely on the seat.
What we did? Well, we designed Mini Top Rack.
A tailor-made solution that offers bespoke fit of not just the Reckless 10 v2.0, but also for the rest of the Mosko's Reckless lineup when using the Gnoblin.

Mini Top Rack uses the same, proven mounting system as our standard rack. This makes it extremely sturdy. Additionally, it means that it is possible to change only the top plate between two systems. Perfect option for riders who already own our standard rack but want benefits of the Mini rack.

The rack provides four positions for the Gnoblin. Depending on which Reckless bag is used, the Gnoblin will be installed in adequate position.

To help with the installation of the Gnoblin when Mini top rack is already on the bike, we have added circular pockets to the underside. These pockets will hold a washer and a nut in correct place while bolt is inserted from the top.

Most of the Mosko Reckless bags will benefit from using the spacers between the Gnoblin button and the top plate. Mosko started including these spacers in recent months. If you have an older Gnoblin that came without spacers, you can use a stack of flat washers with the same effect.

Spacers are lifting the Gnoblin button a little higher. This makes mounting and dismounting of the Reckless bags considerably easier. There is no more need to press onto the harness to "engage" the Gnoblin. Simultaneously, it helps the CURV composite harness to keep a more natural curvature and fit the bike even better.
So far we have tested the Mini rack with the Mosko moto Reckless 10 v2.0, Reckless 40 v4.0, Alpine 60 and Reckless 80 v4.0.

Reckless 80 is the only setup that doesn't fit well with the Mini top rack, to the point where we can't recommend this combo. It works, but far from optimal. R80 harness is wide, F900GS tail is slim... Without additional support, legs of the Reckless 80 are left in the air, especially on the left side. Adding our Rackless supports makes little difference since they don't stick out far enough.

So, if you plan to run Reckless 80 on your 900GS, it's better to stick with our standard Top luggage rack. Front corners of the rack give support to the harness, resulting in significantly better fit.
We are yet to get our hands on the Mosko moto Alpine 16 so can't comment the fit from personal experience. Judging from the online photos, it will most likely fit similar to the Reckless 10 v2.0.
Mini rack also features slots for straps. These are not intended for securing rackless bags, but can be used for that as well. Their primary function is to strap additional, smaller drybag to the rear of the Reckless setup.

As with the rest of our luggage racks, all edges of the top plate and stainless steel side brackets are chamfered. This gives the entire product nicer looks, but more importantly helps prolong strap's lifespan.
