Kriega OS-18 on CF-Moto 450MT

The main reason behind designing the Perun moto Top luggage rack for CF-Moto 450MT was to make it easier to mount rack-less luggage bags. The grab handles on the OEM rack make fitting rack-less bags less than ideal.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at how the Kriega OS-18 bags, paired with the Kriega Tenere 700 OS-Base, fit on the 450MT.

Some of you might wonder why are we using the Tenere OS-Base and that's a valid question. There are a couple of reasons: At the time of writing this article (October 2025), 450MT specific OS-Base is not available. Universal Adventure bike OS-Base is slightly wider than ideal, which makes the bags sag more than we’d like. Tenere OS-Base fits the MT perfectly, as it does on several other mid size ADV bikes. That alone makes it a great option.

There’s one small challenge when using the T700 OS-Base on the 450MT: the upper straps have nowhere to attach. The buckles on these straps aren’t designed for easy threading, so attaching them directly isn’t a practical solution.

What we did? We used two Kriega OS-Rack loops and mounted them to the underside of our luggage rack. This leaves the entire top surface of the rack completely flat for additional tail bags or similar.

To connect the OS-Rack Loops with the straps on the OS-Base, we designed simple S-Hooks. It’s a clean, minimal solution that works surprisingly well. Installation takes just seconds.

The lower straps attach to the passenger footrest brackets. Although their length isn’t adjustable, the bags sit in an ideal position.

Mounted like this, the bags are far from the stock silencer. There is no risk of them getting burned or melted by the exhaust.

For even greater stability, the upper G-hook straps can be crossed: the left-hand strap connects to the right side of the OS-Base and vice versa. This simple step noticeably improves stability.

Bags are not interfering with rider's movement, neither while seated or while standing up.
