Large-capacity luggage systems come in a variety of shapes and forms to suit the needs of different riders. From minimalist, super lightweight setups to feature-rich, bulletproof designs, there are plenty of options to choose from. Mosko moto Reckless 80 V4.0 definitely falls into the second category. In this article, we'll take a look at how it works on the CF-Moto 450MT / Ibex 450 and what mounting options the Perun moto Top luggage rack provides.
Reckless 80 can be mounted in two ways: either by using the straps, or with a quick release Gnoblin system. Our rack caters for both options so it's up to you to decide. Both variants have their advantages.

Slots toward the rear of the rack are designed specifically with the Reckless 80 in mind. This ensures optimal placement and angle of all three top straps.

All edges of the rack are chamfered in a CNC mill to ensure the best longevity of the straps. There are no sharp edges to damage the strap.

Using the straps for mounting of the Reckless 80 is convenient while searching for the ideal position of the bags. With the straps, the position can be adjusted in seconds. However, threading the straps each time the bags are taken off the bike and mounted again can become tiresome. Luckily, Mosko moto came out with quick release solution for this issue, the Gnoblin.

Installation of the Gnoblin onto Perun moto rack and harness of the Reckless 80 takes a couple of minutes. It's a one time job so the time spent on installation becomes irrelevant.
The rack provides three pre-drilled holes intended for the Gnoblin. We suggest using the second one from the front.

NOTE AND A TIP:
Our latest Gnoblin arrived with two spacers which were previously not included in the packaging. These spacers fit between the rack and the Gnoblin button, rising the button slightly. This increase in height results in considerably smoother and easier mounting and dismounting of the Reckless 80 from the bike. For me, this transformed experience of using the R80.
If you have an older Gnoblin which came without the spacers, you can use a stack of flat washers with the same effect. A longer bolt will be needed if spacers are used. We're showing this option mounted to a different rack, but it will be the same on the 450MT / Ibex 450 rack as well.

When it comes to the harness of the Reckless 80, the Gnoblin can be mounted in two positions. We suggest using the front one.

This combination places the Reckless 80 in optimal position: as far forward as possible, without interfering with the rider. Moving the bags further back is possible but results in worse weight distribution and might have negative impact on bike's handling.
Regardless whether you are using the straps or the Gnoblin to secure the R80 onto the rack, lower straps can conveniently be attached to passenger foot rest brackets.

Use front part of the brackets to secure the strap, as shown in the photo above. Strap length is kept to a minimum. Together with the stiffness of the CURV composite harness, this eliminates bouncing of the bags almost completely.
450MT has a relatively low stock silencer. With the Reckless 80 mounted as suggested, there is plenty of clearance between bags and the exhaust. This setup has been tested on several trips and heat was never an issue. For added peace of mind, you can always mount a heat-shield if desired.

Despite its rugged design and large capacity, Mosko moto Reckless 80 still manages to keep the relatively narrow profile. The bags have almost the same width as the handlebars. Aux-pox mounted on the bottom side of holsters are the widest part.

In all of the photos we're showing the R80 without the removable beaver tail and Stinger 22l tail bag. These can easily be installed for added storage capacity if needed.
