Our Aprilia Tuareg 660 Top luggage rack proved to work very well in wide range of use scenarios. Some of our customers installed it with Outback pannier racks, and the fit is very good, with few minor adjustments.
Here, I will try to explain the integration process.
Before trying to integrate Perun moto Top luggage rack and Outback pannier racks, it is strongly recommended to install Outback pannier racks on their own and make sure all aligns well. Then remove it and install Perun moto Top luggage rack and make sure all aligns well. Remove the Perun moto rack too.
Assemble Perun moto rack per our Instructions (steps 1-3) and make sure not to tighten M6 bolts fully.
Then, proceed with the integration.
Drawing below shows a very simplified assembly of the Perun moto side supports - with Perun moto short spacer at the front and long spacer at the rear. This is used to install our rack alone and it is described in the Instructions.
Next drawing shows an oversimplified assembly of Outback pannier rack, with their spacers. Green things are tabs of Outback pannier racks. Outback long spacer is used in the front and Outback short spacer is used at the rear.
In order to keep both Perun moto side supports and Outback pannier rack where they are designed to sit, we need to combine these. See the following drawing.
Here is how to do it.
Use an Outback short spacer at the rear and Perun moto short spacer at the front. This will leave some gaps.
So use a stack of 3 x M8 washers (or 4 mm spacer) at the rear, between Outback tab and Perun moto side support, as shown below.
And use a 6-7 mm spacer or stack of washers at the front, between Perun moto side supports and Outback tab.
Use bolts provided by Outback at the front and use bolts provided by Perun moto at the rear.
For the rest of installation, just follow instructions provided by Outback and Perun moto.
This way designed thread engagements will be kept and both Outback pannier racks and Perun moto Top rack will sit where they were designed to sit. Assembly will be strong and secure.
