Perun moto Ducati DesertX Top luggage rack Side supports Gen1 vs Gen2

• In August 2023 we updated our Ducati DesertX Top Luggage rack - the only difference is in the updated stainless steel side supports. New side supports are lower profile, so they don't interfere with Ducati Aux rear fuel tank. 

• Our Ducati DesertX Side carriers are designed to work only with the updated side supports and won't work with old Gen1 side supports. 

• If you have our old top rack with Gen1 side supports and you wish to A) use Ducati Aux rear fuel tank or B) wish to use our Ducati DesertX Side carriers, you need to purchase these updated side supports - email us and we can arrange this. 

• If you have our top rack with Gen2 side supports or if you are purchasing the Ducati DesertX Top Luggage rack now, you don't need to purchase Gen2 Side supports separately - they come with the Gen2 rack (current model of the rack).
