    This rack didn’t happen overnight.

    It started with a simple problem: how to provide a reliable, lightweight way to mount today’s most popular rackless luggage systems and small tail bags on the KTM 390 Adventure R, X or Enduro. We spent months designing, cutting, riding, loading, unloading, and repeating until the rack stopped feeling like a prototype and became something we’d actually bolt onto our own bikes.

    The result is the Perun Moto Top Luggage Rack for the KTM 390 Adventure R, X, and Enduro. Nothing more than it needs to be. Nothing less.

    The geometry of the rack is built specifically for rack-less and modular soft luggage systems. The low-profile shape keeps weight close to the bike and follows the natural rear line of the KTM 390.

    The front of the rack is shaped to allow narrow rack-less systems to sit where they should. At the same time, large rack-less bags have enough support to make them stable. No weird angles, no interference, no compromises.

    Compatibility was a priority from day one, not an afterthought.

    • Multiple mounting holes allow direct installation of the Mosko Moto Gnoblin, with fore-and-aft adjustment depending on bag size and rider preference.

    • Large side slots are sized for the Kriega Adventure OS-Base, letting the plastic buckles pass through cleanly and lock down securely.

    • Dedicated mounting points are integrated for the Kriega Rally Pack, making the rack useful even when you’re riding light and only need essentials.

    • Pre-drilled holes allow direct mounting of a one-gallon Rotopax fuel canister.

    Strap slots are placed where they actually make sense. That means correct strap angles, less movement, and better load stability whether you’re running rack-less luggage, a small tail bag, a tool roll, or a compact dry bag.

    Light Weight, No Drama

    The rack is built from aluminum-magnesium alloy to keep mass down without giving up strength.

    • Side supports are machined from 6 mm material

    • The top plate is cut from 5 mm stock

    Everything is CNC-milled and bent using our own tooling. Edges are chamfered and smoothed to reduce wear on straps and soft luggage. Sharp corners and fabric don’t mix.

    Despite the solid construction, total weight comes in at 1300 grams including mounting hardware. Light enough to forget about. Strong enough to trust.

    Grab Handles That Actually Work

    Integrated grab handles aren’t decorative here. They’re part of the structure.

    Their shape and position were defined during testing. Lifting the bike, dragging it around the garage, and wrestling it out of bad line choices. When you need a grip, they’re where your hands naturally go. Simple as that.

    Built In-House, Start to Finish

    Every rack is manufactured in-house at Perun Moto. The only steps done outside are cutting the blank plates and powder coating, both handled by long-time partners we trust.

    What we design is exactly what gets cut, bent, finished, and packed. Keeping production in-house lets us control the details that actually matter.

    The matte black powder coating has an anodized look and provides durable surface protection.

    Final Thoughts

    In the end, it’s a straightforward piece of hardware. It carries luggage, keeps the weight low, and stays out of the way.
