Perun moto Top luggage rack for BMW F900GS - design details

Discover the latest offering from Perun Moto: the BMW F900GS Top Luggage Rack. Designed primarily with rack-less luggage systems in mind, this rack comes with some nice additional features. Let's dive in.

The rack has Central and two Side supports. These are made of 5mm stainless steel, bent using special tooling, for additional strength. Top plate is milled from 6mm aluminum-magnesium alloy, ensuring durability and strength. All mounting hardware is included in the package.

Perun moto BMW F900GS Top Luggage Rack has plenty of usable slots, created to offer optimal mounting of various rack-less luggage systems from Mosko moto, Kriega, Giant Loop, Enduristan and others. All of the edges, including the ones on central and side supports, are chamfered. This ensures longevity of straps.

We have raised the bar with powder coating on this rack. New coating is thinner than what we used before, while simultaneously being tougher. Looks amazing which is always a plus.

Unlike many bikes in its class, the BMW F900GS presents a unique challenge with only one readily accessible attachment point on its frame. Our solution includes a meticulously designed Center support that fits snugly under the tail plastic, offering additional attachment points for the Side supports. This design ensures the desired strength and rigidity necessary to handle the demands of adventure riding.

This design enables the Top luggage rack to sit very low, just slightly above the stock seat.

We were able to incorporate large grab handles into the top plate itself. These come in handy while maneuvering the bike around the garage or picking the bike up. And don't worry, the rack is strong enough for this. Obviously, the openings become inaccessible if the bags are installed. 

Mosko moto Gnoblin is commonly used nowadays. We made sure to offer several (four, to be exact) pre-drilled holes suitable for Gnoblin installation.

Until Kriega comes out with dedicated F900GS OS-Base, it is possible to use their T-700 OS-base with our Top luggage rack. Perun moto Kriega mount add-on bolts right onto the Side supports. Additionally, Top plate has pre-drilled holes for Kriega OS-Rack loops. OS-Rack loops mount to the underside of the top plate, providing flat surface for the bag.

BMW F900GS Top luggage rack is compatible with Givi/Kappa Monokey and SW-Motech top cases. Mounting hardware installs directly to the rack, eliminating the need for adapter plates. Top case mounting hardware is not included with the rack.
