Perun moto Husqvarna 701 Luggage rack - after wheelie gone wrong
Recently, customer had an accident on his Husqvarna 701 Enduro while he was performing a wheelie. Luckily, he was OK (except some missing skin, but he is healing well). Also, bike wasn't damaged too much and it is already repaired.
But Perun moto Husqvarna 701 Enduro Luggage rack suffered some damage, and it is not repairable.
What is interesting is that even rack suffered very strong direct hit, it didn't broke, it just bent. Also, threaded inserts molded into plastic tank were completely OK and bolts held well.
This was unfortunate event and I hope we won't see something like this again, but it served as a good test of rack's strength and strength of tank inserts. It also proves that thread engagement of the bolts we use is more than adequate for the purpose.
