We are manufacturing Luggage rack for Husqvarna 701 for some time now. It proved really well - it doesn't stick out from the footprint of bikes rear fender, it offers plenty strapping points for all sorts of soft luggage, it has pre-drilled holes for 1 gallon Rotopax can and it is very strong.

But, some riders are in need of larger top surface, that can support 30l or 40l duffle bags. That is why we launched Extension plate for Husqvarna 701 Luggage rack

Plate is made of 4 mm thick aluminum, and like on the rack, all edges are chamfered and smooth.

    Here are overall dimensions.

Installation is very easy and straightforward - just 4 countersunk bolts and nuts, and no need to remove Luggage rack. It can also be dismounted very quickly.

It doesn't stick out to far to the back, but instead it provides more space on sides. Low profile is kept.

There are flanges bent downwards, on sides and on the back, providing additional strength to the plate while making strapping easy.

Extension plate is welcome addition for all riders using larger duffle bags, but it is also great for folks using rack-less systems, like Mosko moto Reckles 40 or 80, because it helps keeping the bag away from muffler. Of course, heat shield is still a must.

This size of the plate can easily accommodate 30-40 liters duffle bags. Here is an example of 35-45 l SW-Motech Rackpack tail bag.

Of course, additional slots are making mounting rack-less luggage notions even easier than before. Here is how great new Enduristan Blizzard bags fits.
