BMW R1300GS with Mosko Backcountry Duffle

There are days and rides when you don't need or want loads of luggage space. Sometimes, tail bag alone will do the job.

Mosko moto Backcountry 30l Duffle is probably one of the sturdiest options on the market today. This two layer bag is designed and built to withstand a lot of use and to keep things inside dry no matter the weather.

How do you mount it on a BMW R1300GS? Well, that's easy when the bike is equipped with Perun moto BMW R1300GS Top luggage rack - sport. The rack has large surface area to adequately support the bag of this size, and features plenty of slots for secure strapping.

Two cinch straps are fixed to the rack, and then passed trough openings in Backcountry's top flap and underneath integrated tent pole bag. This keeps the straps neatly tucked away and enables them to compress and secure the bag.

All of the edges on luggage rack are chamfered which prolongs lifespan of the straps.

Top flap comes in handy if there is need to store some additional items, or for wet rain gear. The flap also features Molle panels for additional expansion. This is something I've never used, but can come in handy at times.

Roll top closure at both ends makes it easier to reach the thing you need, eliminating the need to remove everything else from the bag. Having closures at both ends also means that the size of the bag is adjustable.

Grab handles on three sides make man-handling the bag more convenient. Additionally, there are backpack straps stashed on the underside.
