    Luggage rack plate for BMW F650GS Dakar

    Recently friend of mine asked me to make Luggage rack plate for his BMW F650GS Dakar. He had OEM adapter plate for BMW Top case, but he wanted larger surface to strap rolie bag to it. 

    So, this is what we came with:

    Overall dimensions are 250 x 430 millimeters. 

    It fits great, and it is big enough for large rolies. 

    It was great opportunity for me to test new press brake tooling - punch with 5 mm radius and new method for edge chamfering. This method of chamfering is more time consuming then I would like, but results are great. Pictures after anodization:

    I don't plan to produce parts for BMW in near future, I will stay focused on KTM's, but it was nice to do something for my second favorite motorcycle brand.
