UPDATE - this blog post is referring to Mosko moto Reckless 80 V2.0 bags. Check how new Mosko moto Reckless 80 V3.0 Revolver fit on 2019+ KTM 690 Enduro R - HERE

With capacity of 80 liters, Mosko moto Reckless 80 can carry twice as much as Reckless 40. This comes at a price, as this bag system is noticeably larger than R40.

R80 is perfect for larger adventure bikes, like KTM 1090 or 1290. Check our blog post about it HERE.

It can be used on mid adventure bikes, like 690, but it won't fit as well as Reckless 40. Check our blog post about Reckless 40 on 2019 KTM 690 Enduro HERE.

That said, in my opinion, it is still go-to luggage system if you need large carrying capacity on KTM 690 Enduro R. Centralized mass, very durable, protects the bike in case of fall, lots of convenient features.

We fitted Reckless 80 on 2019 KTM 690 Enduro with our new 2019+ KTM 690 Enduro Luggage rack and our Heel guards

First, we fitted bags as much forward as we could, leaving enough room for rider. Idea is to maximize mass centralization and to stay away from the exhaust. Downside is that hole for refueling is not aligned with fuel cap, so bag must be moved for refueling. Not much of an issue, when you get used to it.

If middle bag is full, it may interfere with rider on steep downhills. I usually don't use middle bag and I use this place to store my jacket or tent.

Set this way, bag is barely touching the exhaust, but heat shield is still advisable.

Good thing is that there is still some room on the luggage rack, for light luggage, like sleeping bag.

Next, we tried to mount bags more to the back, so hole on the base of the bags is aligned with fuel cap. When hole and fuel cap are aligned, bag is covering turn signals. Since turn signals are on elastic mounts, this may not be a problem. Heat shield is definitely a must. When bags are set this way, rider has more room.

We hit a 'sweet spot' when we mounted bag as shown on photo below.

We will design Extension plate, to offer better support for base of Reckless 80. Even without it, this is still viable setup.
