Husqvarna Norden 901 and Givi top case
Our Husqvarna Norden 901 Billet top rack - Large is designed to work great with Givi Monokey top cases. Due to the bulkier tail section and larger seat, top cases fits great on Norden. Shown with Givi Trekker Dolomiti 46 top case.
There is no need for generic intermediary adapter plates, top case can be mounted directly to the rack. Holes for appropriate Givi hardware kit (more info in Instructions, Section C) are pre-drilled and installation is simple bolt-on procedure.
There are several benefits of this approach.
First, obvious - rack itself weights less than rack plus adapter plate.
Secondly, top case sits lower, very close to the tail of the bike. So the weight is carried lower.
And third, it is much more elegant than having a bulky generic adapter plate bolted to the rear rack. Switching between top case and soft luggage is a breeze.
For city touring or commuting, top case is a necessity. Thankfully, it fits great on Norden.
