GPS mount for 12 mm bar on Tenere 700

Yamaha Tenere 700 has a very convenient feature - 12 mm bar placed just above the dashboard. It can be used to attach GPS units or phones.

We made a mount for this - R12 Bar clamps AMPS. 

It is very firm, upper and lower parts of the clamp are fixed with four M5 bolts. Fixed like this, it won't rotate around the bar, even on roughest roads. 

Upper part of the clamp has M4 threaded holes, in AMPS bolt pattern. That is the bolt pattern used on Garmin GPS cradles and many other phone mounts. Also, AMPS RAM ball mount is available.

Clamp can be mounted horizontally or vertically. This ensures that GPS or phone can be placed ideally, according to the riders preference. Several M4 bolts and washers are included with the Clamp. 

To offer even more versatility, we include 15 mm high "spacer" so even large GPS units, like Garmin XT, can be placed above the dash and at the proper angle, without interfering with the dash. 

Mounted like this, Garmin XT fits perfectly. 

Although it is designed for our Yamaha Tenere 700, it works perfectly on all bikes with 12-13 mm bars.
