Kriega US-10 Drypack on Husqvarna 701 Enduro

Kriega US-10 Drypack is perfectly sized as a day bag. It has enough room to pack basic tools, spare tube, some snacks and thinner rain gear. A great option for those who want to avoid carrying all the stuff in a backpack. Once mounted on the Husqvarna 701, it's easy to forget it is there.

To make installation as simple as possible, we have designed our Husqvarna 701 Luggage rack with pre-drilled holes for Kriega OS-Rack loops. It's possible to mount the US-10 bag either by using four OS-Rack loops, as shown in the photo below, or by using only two OS-Rack loops - shown later in this article.

OS-Rack loops mount on the underside of our rack. To make the upper surface completely flush, we're using countersunk M6 bolts (these have to be sourced separately, they are not standard part of Kriega OS-Rack loops). There is no need to overtighten these bolts, Hypalon loops should rotate freely. To prevent OS-Rack loops from falling off (happens usually when riding without a bag installed), use a flat washer and M6 nylock nut on the underside. Or, if this will be your permanent setup, add a drop of mild thread lock to all the bolts.

With four OS-Rack loops installed, the Kriega US-10 bag can be mounted either lengthwise, as shown in these photos, or across the seat. Either option works well. Just note that if the bag is mounted lengthwise, fuel cap will be partially blocked.

To prevent the bag from moving back-fort, pass the top strap trough slot on the rack.

As previously mentioned, Kriega US-10 can also be installed by using just two OS-Rack loops. Those are mounted in the rear of Perun moto Luggage rack. To secure front end of the bag, pass the short loops on the underside of the bag trough slots on sides of the rack, then use G-hook straps to tighten everything in place.
