Not every ride is a long, multi-day camping adventure. In fact, at least for me, most of my time on the bike is spent on day rides and commuting. I could easily pack everything I need for these rides into a small backpack, but carrying unnecessary weight on my back is far from appealing.
That's where small tail bags come into play. The Enduristan Sidekick 10 is the latest one I've been testing on the CFMOTO 450MT / Ibex 450.
Ten liters of capacity is enough for the essentials. Since I'm currently using the bike mostly for commuting, I keep the bag packed with rain gear, a first-aid kit, shoes and a change of clothes. That fills the Sidekick 10 completely.
When heading out for a proper ride, the clothes and shoes would stay at home, leaving plenty of room for other items.

Tail bags are generally easy to mount and offer practical storage space. The Sidekick 10 is no exception. It comes with two straps, each fitted with two cam buckles. The straps wrap around the bag and pass underneath the Perun moto Top rack, securing the bag firmly to the bike.
After a few rides with this setup, I switched to using two Rok Straps. They proved quicker to work with, and since I remove the bag once or twice during each ride, that's a welcome improvement.

Perun Moto Top luggage rack for CF-Moto 450MT / Ibex 450 has slots with smooth, chamfered edges which work perfectly for attaching the straps.

Once the Rok Straps are attached to the rack, they can stay there even when the bag is off the bike. Securing the Sidekick 10 is as simple as clipping in two buckles. It takes just a couple of seconds.

The size of our rack provides plenty of support for the bag. The entire bag rests on the top plate, keeping it completely stable. The Sidekick 10's central strap, fitted with a G-hook, can also be routed through one of the slots in our rack, helping to secure the setup even further.

With the bag sitting securely on the rack and held in place by the straps, it feels like part of the bike. For day rides and commuting, it's easy to forget it's even there.
