CF-Moto 450MT / Ibex 450 with Kriega US-10

Not every ride calls for a large luggage setup. Sometimes, all you need is a small waterproof bag for tools, rain gear and a few essentials. Kriega US-10 is exactly that kind of bag - compact, tough and perfectly suited for day rides on the CF-Moto 450MT / Ibex 450.

Mounted onto the Perun Moto Top luggage rack, the US-10 sits low and secure without getting in the rider’s way.

To install the bag, we’re using Kriega OS-Rack loops. Our rack features dedicated mounting holes for them, making installation simple and clean. One nice detail is that the loops bolt onto the underside of the rack, leaving the top surface completely flat. That means nothing rubs against the bottom of the bag over time.

To mount the OS-Rack loops as shown here, M6x20 or M6x25 countersunk bolts are needed. These are not included with either the rack or the loops.

Once the loops are installed, which is a one-time job, fitting the US-10 takes only a few seconds.

I prefer clipping the G-hook straps into the loops first, while paying attention to buckle orientation to avoid twisting the straps later.

After placing the bag onto the rack, clip all four buckles into place and tighten the straps evenly. Two straps should pass through the roll-top loop of the bag. Otherwise, the straps can obstruct the opening and closing of the Drypack.

With everything tightened down, the bag stays impressively stable, even on rough terrain. Since the rack fully supports the base of the US-10, there’s no movement or bouncing to worry about.

One of the useful features of our rack is the side slot, originally designed to accept the center strap from Kriega bags. Threading the roll-top closure strap through it adds another layer of security and keeps everything nicely aligned.

As for capacity, the US-10 is ideal for everyday essentials. Tools, tire repair kit, small compressor, rain layer, and snacks all fit comfortably inside. For day rides, there’s really not much more needed.
